Jacob E. Leonard, 28, Dead in Fulton County Crash in Pennsylvania

Fulton County, Pennsylvania (July 31, 2017) – A Pittsburgh man was killed on Wednesday evening after the motorcycle he was riding hit the front tire of a Kenworth tractor trailer in Fulton County.

The accident was reported at about 8 p.m. July 26, on Interstate 70, near the 150.8-mile marker in Brush Creek Township.

Jacob E. Leonard aged 28 was riding his Suzuki motorcycle on I-70 east at a high rate of speed when he crossed into the right lane and hit the front tire of a Kenworth tractor-trailer being operated by Jose J. Felix, 46 of Dorr, Mich., as per the State Police.

Leonard and his motorcycle slid across the roadway and hit a guard rail.

Leonard was pronounced dead at the crash site. Felix was not injured.

The crash remained under investigation.
