Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania (July 29, 2017) – A pedestrian was involved in an accident that closed westbound Route 22 on Thursday night, as per Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident took place at about 9 p.m. July 27, westbound Route 22 onto MacArthur Road.
The two lanes were closed and traffic diverted off Route 22 onto MacArthur.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital.
Limited details regarding how the crash took place and the condition of the victim were available at this time.
The westbound lanes were blocked for about 90 minutes.
Authorities are still investigating the incident to determine cause and liability.
