Wheatfield Township, Pennsylvania (August 5, 2017) – The driver of a tractor-trailer was killed when he rear-ended a flatbed trailer on Tuesday morning in Indiana County, according to authorities.

The crash took place on Route 22 between Kettle Hollow and Palmerton roads, in West Wheatfield Township.

Fire crews mentioned that the Old Dominion Freight Line tractor –trailer caught fire.

The flatbed was carrying two heavy steel pipes. The driver of the flatbed was not harmed.
