Colver Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 553 in Indiana County
Brad Dixon, 37, Killed in Indiana County Road Crash
Indiana County, PA (August 10, 2017) – A man was killed in a head-on collision on route 553 on Wednesday evening in Indiana County.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on August 9, 2017, on route 553 near Pine Flats Road in Cherryhill.
According to Indiana County officials, the collision happened when a vehicle being driven by 37-year-old Brad Dixon of Colver crossed the center line and struck an oncoming SUV.
Dixon was pronounced dead at the scene whereas the 43-year-old SUV driver sustained moderate injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
State police are still working with local departments to determine what caused the crash.
