Cosmin Ganta and Epitacio Diaz-Morales ID’d as Tractor-Trailer Drivers Killed in Fiery Newville Crash
Newville, PA (July 28, 20117) – Police have released names of the two drivers who were killed in a crash on Friday on Interstate 81.
Cosmin Ganta of California and Epitacio Noel Diaz-Morales, 34, of Florida died on Friday evening on 1-81 in Penn Township.
Diaz was driving the rig which suddenly swerved and jackknifed into the left-hand side. Later, it started to slide over the bridge embankment and fell onto Kutz Road. Meanwhile, Ganta tried to avoid the trailer on the interstate, but he hit the cemented bridge embankment.
The rigs caught fire and the bodies of the two drivers burnt beyond recognition.
