Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania (August 8, 2017) – A woman was killed in a w-car crash on Monday afternoon in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County.

The incident occurred just after 1 p.m. August 7, 2017, at the intersection of Creamery and Spring Creek roads.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Cynthia A. Amorino, 64, was driving a red Nissan Altima southbound on Creamery road and had just entered the intersection when she collided with blue Dodge Ram 1500 driven by an unidentified man from Barto, Pennsylvania.

Reports from Lehigh County Coroner’s Office indicate that Amorino died at the scene of the accident from multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

The driver of the pickup sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital within the locality.

Spring Creek Road remained closed for almost four hours as the police investigated the incident.
