Motorcyclist-Douglas Marshall, 44, Injured in Delaware County Crash

Delaware County, Pennsylvania ( August 1, 2017) – A male motorcyclist was injured in the left leg after colliding with a car on Delaware County Road on Monday, according to state police release.

The accident took place at about 6:30 p.m. July 31, east on Indiana 67.

Marshall was riding a 2002 Honda Shadow motorcycle on Indiana 67 when a 1997 Ford Explorer driven by Robert Ryan Keesling, 40, of Daleville came out of a gas station into Marshall’s path. Marshall hit the rear corner of the car and slid.

Troopers and a Delaware County deputy had attended to Marshall’s leg before EMS arrived.

Keesling fled the scene but was later arrested by a county deputy and jailed in Delaware County where he was charged with DUI and leaving the scene. He remained in the jail as on Tuesday morning on a bond of  $25,000.

Authorities are still investigating the incident to determine the cause and liabilities.
