Noel Diaz-Morales and Cosmin Ganta Identified as the Two Tractor-Trailer Drivers Killed in I-81 Crash in Newville
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania (August 2, 2017) – Two drivers were killed Friday in a traffic crash in Penn Township, according to the police.
The crash took place at 9:30 p.m. July 28, south on I-81 in Newville.
Noel Diaz-Morales of Florida driving a rig suddenly veered into the left and jackknifed, then slid over a bridge abutment falling into Kutz Road.
Cosmin Ganta tried to evade the vehicle but hit the concrete bridge abutment.
The two tractor trailers burst into flames and drivers were burned beyond recognition as per the Cumberland County coroner’s office.
An investigation into the crash was still ongoing at the time of the report.
