Two Injured in Lawncrest Multi-Vehicle DUI Collision on Tabor Avenue in Lawncrest
Lawncrest, Delaware: (July 12, 2017) – Two drivers were taken to the hospital after they were involved in a multi-vehicle collision early Saturday morning in Lawncrest, a local news source reported.
The crash occurred at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, July 8 in the 6000 block of Tabor Avenue.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a 19-year-old driver in a Honda sedan was traveling down the street without headlights when he collided with another car.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles smashed into four other vehicles.
The drivers of the two cars involved in the initial collision were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police said that the driver of the Honda admitted to drinking before getting behind the wheel. He will face charges in DUI.
