At Least One Killed in Plane Crash in Bradford County

Bradford County, PA: (July 21, 2017) – At least one person was killed after a small plane crashed Wednesday morning near Bradford County airport, according to a report by a local news source.

A witness of the crash said that the plane crashed after takeoff from the Bradford County airport.  The plane was described as a Zodiac light spot aircraft and crashed in a wooded area about 2 miles east of the airport. There were no passengers on board the plane.

Pennsylvania State Police at Towanda, the Federal Aviation Administration, and Bradford County emergency management responded to the scene of the crash.

At least one person was confirmed dead in the accident.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
