Franklin County, Pennsylvania (August 10, 2017) – Two cars collided in Carbon County on Friday causing possible injuries to a female driver, according to police.

The accident took place at 3 a.m. August 4, on Route 209 in Franklin Township.

A man who was driving at a high rate of speed collided with a female driver, causing her to strike a guardrail while he landed on his roof, according to police.

Medical crews arrived at the crash site, but the female driver refused treatment.

Police mentioned that the man crawled out and fled on foot.

Police are still searching for the driver who fled the scene.

The crash remained under an investigation by Franklin Township police.
