2 Hurt in Collision at Route 66 and East Reidsburg and Spruce Road
Norma J. Wagner and Ora L. Rearick Injured in Crash in Limestone Twp
Limestone Township, Pennsylvania (September 20, 2017) – Two people were injured after two vehicles collided at an intersection in Limestone Township, Clarion County, on Saturday afternoon.
As per a statement by Clarion-based State Police, the crash occurred around 3:57 p.m. September 16, at the intersection of Route 66, East Reidsburg Road and Spruce Road in Limestone.
According to the statement, a 1993 Mazda Miata driven by Garick E. McCullough, of Pleasant Gap, was northbound on Route 66 approaching E. Reidsburg and Spruce Roads. Meanwhile, Ronald L. Rearick, 79 of Frewsburg, NY, driving a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox was at stopped on Route 66 waiting to turn onto East Reidsburg Road when McCollough’s vehicle struck it.
Two passengers in Rearick’s car – Norma J. Wagner, 77, of Ashville, NY and Ora L. Rearick of Frewsburg, of NY, sustained injuries and were taken to the Clarion Hospital.
Rearick and Maynard J. Wagner, 80, of Ashville, were not hurt the crash.
McCollough was also unharmed.
All occupants were reported to have been using seat belts at the time of the collision.
Limited details regarding the condition of the victims were available at the time of the report.
The police are still investigating the incident.
