SUV Overturns in Crash at Montgomery Avenue and Georges Lane in Wynnefield
WYNNEFIELD, Philadelphia (July 11, 2017) – A driver was hurt early Sunday morning following a crash that caused one of the involved vehicles to overturned in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia, according to a police report.
The accident took place at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, July 9, at the intersection of Montgomery Avenue and Georges Lane.
According to the report, a Nissan ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with an SUV. The impact of caused the overturn and came to rest upside down.
The SUV driver managed to climb out of the car. Paramedics responded to the scene and treated the man. No other injuries were reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
