At Least One Hospitalized in Two-Vehicle Crash in Fayette County

North Union Township, Pennsylvania (August 5, 2017) – At least one person was transported to the hospital following a two-car crash which involved a state trooper’s cruiser in Fayette County on Wednesday, according to officials.

The crash took place at about 7 p.m. August 2, in the 1200-block of West Penn Boulevard in North Union Township.

Emergency dispatchers mentioned that one person, who was not identified immediately was taken to a hospital by a medical helicopter.

Limited details regarding the cause of the crash and how it occurred were available at the time of the crash.

Police reported that one of the cars involved in the crash was a state police trooper.

An investigation into the crash is still ongoing to determine cause and liability.
