Three People injured Two-Car Crash on Route 8 Near Kalgallen
Middlesex TWP, Pennsylvania (July 31, 2017) – Three people were injured and a dog killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night in Middlesex Township.
The crash took place near Kilgallen Road shortly after 10 p. m., authorities said.
Two people were thrown out of the vehicle, while one person had to be rescued through the sunroof. A dog, with injuries, was a passenger as well.
One of the injured had to be flown to Pittsburg Hospital in a medical helicopter.
A pick-truck had crashed into the car, believed to be a Lexus.
Susan Reagan, who lives with her husband and son on Kilgallen Road, said she thought she heard something that sounded like a gunshot that was extremely loud.
Quality Ambulance crew and volunteer firefighters from Middlesex and Penn townships also helped with the other two injured people.
Penn Township police helped state police and specialists reconstruct the accident that evening.
Middlesex Township police are currently investigating the accident. They were not able to make the accident report available or answer phone calls this morning.
