Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania (August 3, 2017) – A woman aged 74 years succumbed to injuries she sustained in a crash on Wednesday in Mt. Pleasant Township, according to state police.
The fatal crash took place at about 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, August 2 on Route 31, a few miles west of Pennsylvania Turnpike’s Donegal interchange in Westmoreland County.
The unidentified woman was involved in a two car crash between an eastbound and a westbound vehicle.
The female victim died after being airlifted to a trauma center.
The state police are still investigating the incident.
