Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (August 10, 2017) – A vehicle hit a female pedestrian, killing her and fleeing the crash site Sunday in Center City, as per the police.

The fatal crash took place at around 3:20 a.m. August 6, in Center City, Philadelphia.

Officials mentioned that 53-year-old Ann Broderick was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital and pronounced dead after approximately 20 minutes.

The car involved was described as a white four-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with supposedly right front-end damage.

It was not clear what the cause of the incident was. Police were still looking for the hit-and-run driver.
