Parties Hospitalized in Two- Car Crash at Pittston Avenue and Kane Street

Scranton, Pennsylvania (August 1, 2017) – Parties were hospitalized after two cars collided in Scranton on Monday night, according to emergency personnel.

The accident took place at around 10:20 p.m. at Pittston Avenue and Kane Street.

The collision left one of the cars a Mitsubishi SUV, on its side while the other, a Nissan sedan was damaged on the front end.

Authorities at the crash scene said that some of the victims were hospitalized, but their number was unknown.

Limited details regarding the cause of the crash and the extent of injuries were available at the time of the report.

Pittston Avenue at Walsh Street was blocked as a result of the crash.

Officials and police remained at the crash site as of 11:15 p.m.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
